Welcome to Retreating Reality — and the road to WoW Classic+

Welcome to Retreating Reality. When I was 12 years old, I came up with the idea for Retreating Reality - a gaming blog for me to cover news, voice opinions, and just discuss my favorite MMOs (and other games) with the people that cared about them just as much as me. Personally, getting a chance to step away from my real life responsibilities for a few hours and dive into a digital world has always been important for me, and I can't wait to discuss everything in the gaming world with you all!

What we're building first

The biggest games I'll be keeping tabs on at the start of this site are WoW Classic Plus (or wahtever they end up calling it!) and Guild Wars 3.

We're starting focused on these, but plan to expand for further game coverage and tools down the road. At first, we'll have:

• News & articles about Classic+ and Guild Wars 3.
• A gear planner for WoW Classic+ - the flagship tool, will be our first major tool.

Stay tuned! As Classic+ and Guild Wars 3 get closer, we'll expand the tools we support, and we will be increasing our news coverage. If there's a game you'd love us to add, let us know.
