What this is

Retreating Reality is a gaming news and tools site. We care most about the worlds players are about to retreat to, starting with the next chapter of MMOs: World of Warcraft: Classic+ and Guild Wars 3.

The plan

• Right now: a home for news, analysis, and opinion on the games above, written the old-fashioned way.
• Next: a gear planner for World of Warcraft: Classic+, fed by item data parsed directly from the game client so it stays accurate the moment patches drop.
• Later: community features like saving and upvoting builds, and coverage that widens beyond MMOs into every genre.
